#EachForEqual Writing Circle & Empowered Art

Celebrating International Women's Day

DATE: Friday, March 6, 2020

TIME: 6:30pm-9:00pm

LOCATION: The Retreat (6237 Vance Rd, Ste. 8, Chattanooga- backside of Nutrition World)

Cost: $15 each

Come celebrate International Women’s Day with us as we bring this year’s international theme, Each For Equal, to life through writing, discussion and creativity. Our writing and artsy creations will focus on exploring our shared experiences of being female in today’s culture, the challenges that still exist when it comes to gender equality, and the courageous women who inspire us to be brave and bold as we challenge traditions, social norms, expectations and conditioning that do not support equality for all. There will be time for writing, sharing and some other creative activities to make our night interesting and fun. Writing circles hosted by Celebrate Your Existence are “a safe brave space” for women to share their experiences and tell their stories.

Bring: Journal, markers and/or colored pencils, and mug/tumbler for tea

THE 2020 MIDSOUTH WOMEN'S HERBAL CONFERENCE

A weekend of connection, community, retreat and nourishment

Date: April 17-19, 2020

Location: Camp Skyline, Lookout Mountain

Registration options start at $149.00

Event Website: www.midsouthwomensherbalconference.com

The Midsouth Women's Herbal Conference is a weekend dedicated to celebrating women and the wonders of plants, herbs and Mother Nature. We gather to retreat, connect and learn with wise women from across the country through herbal medicine classes, women's health workshops, ceremony, drum cicles and more.

Our 2020 theme is Rooted in Connection. We believe it is imporatant for women to have dedicated time and a nurturing environment for learning, deep healing, reconnecting, and celebrating all the seasons of life. By reconnecting and remembering, we reclaim our own power as women and inspire others to do the same. Through ceremony and sisterhood, we remember that we are healers, life-givers, mothers, and stewards of the land. We develop relationships that feed our bodies, minds and spirits, reminding us of our role in nurturing and caring for Mother Earth, her natural resources, and each other.
